  • lindsay broadbent

    • 15 years of teaching tap experience at Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University, the Dance Club and the Peninsula School of Performing Arts in Southern California

    • At age 14, became a member of The Jazz Tap Ensemble’s Caravan Project – a scholarship program for youth taught by renowned tap dancers including Lynn Daily, Sam Weber, Derick Grant, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, and Mark Mendonca

    • Has attended master classes with the late Gregory Hines, Fayard Nicholas, and Arthur Duncan. Also studied with Paul and Arlene Kennedy.

    • While at Brigham Young University, she was a member of the International Folk Dance Ensemble

    • During the 2002 Winter Olympics, Lindsay performed in the opening ceremonies, medal plaza events and the Church of Jesus Christ’s stage production of Light of the World.

    • Trained and competed for WDC in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap and hip hop

    • Graduated from the University of Utah (2020) with a BFA in modern dance. Trained in modern, ballet, and improvisation

    • While at the U, studied kinesiology, dance history, dance education and teaching dance

    • Professional company member of Junction Dance Co. in Salt Lake City having trained with them for 2 years in jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, house and breaking

    • Has a very diverse and educated background in multiple styles of dance. Likes to incorporate the knowledge of her education and previous training into her class setting

    • Began training at the age of 3 in ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and tap

    • Pursued her education at the University of Utah School of Dance as a Modern Dance Major

    • Trained to teach Vaganova Ballet technique

    • Attended the LINK festival in Salt Lake City and was invited to audition for the Salt Contemporary Dance company

  • amy martinez

    • Began challenging and inspiring up-and-coming dancers at the age of 16. In her 15+ years of directing and choreographing, Amy has received numerous choreography awards including, “Outstanding Choreographer” from the Youth America Grand Prix, international ballet competition

    • With enthusiastic attention to detail, she works to develop the technical ability and poise of her students in a supportive, disciplined environment encouraging every dancer to explore their individual artistry. She is passionate about helping her students reach their full potential

    • Has taught at schools, workshops and studios throughout Utah, and in Washington

    • As a dancer, Amy received recognition at the regional and national competition level She was selected to perform as a youth artist with Odyssey Dance Theatre and Ballet West

    • Has performed work by choreographers Mandy Moore, Jason Parsons, and Christian Denice and has performed in Germany and across the United States

  • Sarah McClure

    • Grew up training in Idaho until she attended and graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in dance

    • Trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company during her college career

    • Recently danced professionally for Junction Dance Co in all styles

    • Currently travels around the country judging dance competitions, choreographing for dance and musicals, and working with gymnasts from the competitive to the college level

    • Started dancing at 7 years old and is a proud alumni of WDC

    • In 2014, Hailey continued her artistic interest at Southern Utah University and Utah Valley University studying modern, jazz, and ballet, as well as participating in MosAIC Hip Hop Company

    • Is a professional company member of Junction Dance Co

    • Currently working as a choreographer with UAC and pouring into the local street dance community where she explores her passion for new styles like Krump, House, and Waacking

    • Received extensive training in various styles at The Dance Club, where she was able to earn many prestigious regional and national awards

    • Member of Odyssey Dance Theatre for seven years, many of which were spent as a principal dancer for the company

    • Was fortunate to assist Andy Blankenbuehler with the pre-production work for the hit Broadway production of Hamilton

    • Has had the opportunity to travel and perform in various places around the country as well as, Israel, Japan, and many places throughout Europe

    • Has been teaching and choreographing for more than 10 years. Loves sharing her passion for dance and the joy that it can bring and help in building up passionate, kind, smart and responsible students

  • ciara steele

    • Received her Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 1998 in Dance and Health Education where she was a member of the BYU Cheer Squad and had several National Television appearances

    • Has 25+ years of teaching experience including directing dance programs in several Utah High Schools for 17 years

    • Has had the opportunity to choreograph around the world, credits include: the Down Under Bowl in Australia, MTV music video, Blues Traveler “Canadian Rose,” Dell commercial, the 2002 Winter Olympics Soldier Hollow Venue, and the FIS Ski World Championships in Germany

    • Co-owner of Epic Productions, founded in 2003. Epic offers dance/drill camps, dance convention weekends, cheer choreography camps, and Epic Leadership Training

    • Is grateful for the opportunity to inspire young people and share her love of the arts, through the Utah Arts Collective

  • mckelle stephens

    • Has been dancing since a very young age, but began training intensively at UAC (previously WDC) at age 11

    • Traveled around the country competing with WDC; performed with Odyssey Dance Theatre youth cast in Thriller: held lead roles in the WDC's Nutcracker, and was selected to compete for national titles at multiple competitions

    • Awarded Wasatch High School’s Dance Sterling Scholar and Regional Dance Sterling Scholar in 2014

    • Honored to be a valedictorian of her graduating class and was awarded a full-tuition academic scholarship for USU

    • Selected to be one of ten Aggiette dancers for Utah State University where she performed collegiately for three years while obtaining her bachelor's degree in Human Movement Science

    • Has always held a love for teaching and enjoys being able to work with young dancers

    • Trained at Wasatch Dance Center while in high school

    • Performed with a contemporary team at Brigham Young University–Idaho

    • Received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Photography from Utah Valley University

    • Currently a Drill Team Assistant Coach at Wasatch High School for 3 years

    • Taught at WDC for 18 years and loves teaching and seeing the students grow

  • Giuliana Willis

    • Has been teaching since she was 15 yeas old

    • Trained at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet and danced on company with URB known today as Utah Metropolitan Ballet

    • Found a love for choreography at a young age winning her scholarships and featuring her works at the Pacific Northwest Regional Dance Festival

    • Received her BFA from the University of Utah while on the Willam F. Christensen scholarship

    • Played the violin with the University of Utah symphony

    • Performed in Willam F Christensen’s original ballet Coppélia shorty before his passing that he directed

    • Taught ballet and character dance at UVU

    • Has spent numerous years either performing in or directing WDC’s The Nutcracker

    • Has been on faculty at UAC for 9 years

    • Is a wife and a mother of 4 living in Midway
