    • Has been teaching preschool since 2002 (19 years)

    • Earned her Child Development Certificate

    • Earned her Nursing Assistant Certificate

    • Raised 9 children and has 15 grandchildren

    • Enjoys scrapbooking, genealogy and traveling

  • Debbie Chappell

    • Began dancing at the age of 3 and teaching children’s dance since age 18

    • Bachelor’s degree from University of Utah in Business Marketing

    • Began teaching at Wasatch Dance Center in 2008

    • Has been involved with the preschool at WDC for 8 years

    • Three beautiful daughters and loves working with children

    • Licensed Elementary Educator in the State of Utah

    • Former 4th Grade teacher in Wasatch County

    • First year teaching at Utah Arts Collective Preschool

    • Mom of 3 young active boys

  • Tiffany Erickson

    • Graduated with a BS in Elementary & Early Childhood Education

    • Taught 5th Grade for 5 years

    • Homeschooled children for 8 years

    • Teaching preschool since 2017

    • Taught PE to K-6 for 1 year

    • Certified Creation Coach (kinda like a life coach)

  • Jamie Giles

    • Began dancing at the age of 3

    • Participated in high school and college dance programs

    • Trained specifically to teach younger children

    • Director of Competition Teams for younger children at UAC

    • Director of the Utah Arts Collective children’s dance program

    • Believes in the importance of dance education, helping build self esteem and confidence

  • Zaude Jenkins

    • She is our Dual Immersion Spanish teacher

    • Originally from Santiago, Chile, and has been living in the Heber Valley for 9 years

    • She loves to inspire her students with catchy songs, illustrations, books and fun crafts

    • Her goals for classes at UAC include: helping children learn in a fun and easy way, maintaining an environment where they can find confidence, and helping them incorporate their new language skills in life

    • Has been teaching the 2-year-old preschoolers at WDC for the past 4 years

    • Graduated in Psychology at the University of Utah

    • Served on multiple PTA/WPN boards in local schools including PTA President at Midway Elementary School

    • Busy raising 4 active kids ages 11-17

    • Currently certifying as a Real Estate agent

    • Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art, with an emphasis in photography

    • Has 18 years of teaching experience

    • Has coached High School Drill Team for the past 12 years

    • Professional photographer, owns Nicole Walton Photo

    • Raising 3 boys, ages 6, 4 and 2

  • Ev Wood

    • Has a Master Gardener Certificate and worked in Landscape Design

    • Created and written curriculum for the art and music programs at WDC

    • Has taught with the WDC program for more than 15 years

    • Studied early childhood development programs and curriculum

    • Currently pursuing her education with online courses from Brigham Young University Idaho
