Increase the knowledge of letter recognition (sound and shape) and name recognition.
Introduce handwriting skills and practice math skills (number recognition, counting, compare, shapes, patterns and sorting).
Expand musical knowledge and abilities.
Create and explore through art and science.
Develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as confidence through performing arts.

Kindergarten prep PROGRAM
This program consists of the following curriculum:
-4 year old academic program
-Pre-K math concepts
-Introduction to Spanish
-Reading Readiness
-Creative Artist
-Math & ScienceImprove handwriting skills and introduce invented spelling (phonic spelling). Basic pre-k math concepts will include counting skills, number recognition, simple geometry and spacial reasoning, sorting and patterns, early introduction to adding and subtracting, and introduction to math language.
Build confidence, develop an interest in books and prints, focus on reading comprehension and decoding. Enhance social, language and conversation skills while building skills for reading success (alphabetical principle, phonological awareness and sight words).
Students are introduced to the Spanish language through music, games, conversation, literature, and art.
Continued developmental growth will be encouraged through activities that focus on fine and gross motor skills. Some of those include using scissors and pencils correctly, copying and tracing, catching a ball, skipping, threading and lacing, peeling and placing stickers, and many more that provide a variety of opportunities for practice and growth.
Social skills will play a part in our classroom as we role-play, learn manners, take turns, discuss feelings, listen to each other, and work together.

Explore classical artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, and Claude Monet.

Reading Readiness
This class follows the science of reading and preparing students to read! Though hands-on activities, movement, games, small group instruction, picture books and more, we will work on:
Letter knowledge: names and sounds
Visual and auditory discrimination of letters – using both uppercase and lowercase
Phonological and Phonemic awareness
Fluency
Comprehension
Vocabulary
Author Studies
The goal of this class is to create an environment where reading is fun and enjoyable. Students will feel confident to grow, learn, and start on the pathof becoming readers for life!

Summer Day Camps
Create, learn and explore through fun daily camp themes.
Maintain a learning routine, and reinforce the educational skills your student has mastered.
Build social skills through creative play and outdoor adventures.
Foster creativity, each day camp will include art-activities, writing, reading and imagination!
Increase physical activity, get moving, get outside and get creative.
